For buyers
Buy with evidence, not hope.
Every listing sits on a seller profile with a public Quality Score breakdown. Here is how to use it, and what to double-check yourself.
Before you buy
A five-point checklist.
- 1Open the seller's Quality Score and read each section, not only the stars.
- 2Check which credentials are verified and which are seller-provided.
- 3Ask for health records, parent documentation and vet contact details.
- 4Request a video call or visit; a good breeder expects it.
- 5Use written agreements and keep every message.
Red flags
Walk away if you see these.
- Pressure to pay before any call or visit
- Refusal to show parents or records
- Prices far below the market for the breed or species
- Payment only by untraceable methods
- Seller won't give a real name or location
- Ships animals sight-unseen with no health documentation
Reviews come only from verified purchasers. No purchase, no review.
