How the 100-point score works and what it does and does not tell you.
The five sections
- Verification and credentials: 25 points
- Animal health and documentation: 30 points
- Customer service: 20 points
- Marketplace activity: 15 points
- Ethical breeding: 10 points
From score to stars
The 100-point total converts to a 1-5 star rating. Only verified purchasers can leave reviews that influence it.
What it is not
It is not a guarantee, a warranty, or a substitute for your own checks. It is a consistent way to compare sellers.
